Change of the company name from “Franz Rieger Metallveredlung e. K.” to “Rieger Metallveredlung GmbH & Co. KG”.

2013

The test and packaging system for steering gear housings is installed. This marks another milestone as the test technology with lasers and cameras that is used there is unique in this area.

2008

The environmental management system is certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001.

2003

The 50th anniversary celebrations took place

1997

A generational change takes place. Franz X. Rieger hands over the management of the company to his son A. Franz Rieger. In the same year, the quality management system is introduced and certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001.

1990

The ozone waste water treatment plant is put into operation. This plant is a European pilot project.

1988

Franz X. Rieger nimmt den „Dr. Rudolf-Ebert-Preis“ für innovative Forschungen auf dem Gebiet der Galvanik entgegen.

1978

Das 25-jährige Jubiläum wurde gefeiert.

1953

Franz X. Rieger gründete in Heidenheim an der Brenz, in einem umgebauten Hühnerstall die „Galvanische Anstalt“. Sieben Jahre später wurde der Neubau im Nachbarort Steinheim bezogen. Ende der 70iger Jahre war die Rieger Metallveredlung vom handwerklichen zu einem industriellen Betrieb gewachsen.
