The all-rounder among metals

Aluminum

Aluminum is a key material in the automotive and electrical industries due to its low density combined with high strength, its light weight and excellent formability as well as its natural corrosion resistance due to an oxide layer.

Aluminum

NICAL® is a pre-treatment process for aluminum and its alloys for subsequent further electroplating. For example, bright nickel / bright chrome, tin, zinc or gold can be applied as a further electroplated layer. The melting point of aluminum is 660°C (933°K), the boiling point 2470°C (2743°K). At Rieger Metallveredlung, we specialize in aluminium electroplating and offer a broad portfolio of processes such as chrome, nickel, copper, tin and anodizing for various aluminium alloys. With modern machines, an in-house polishing room and experienced specialist staff, we are optimally equipped to meet the diverse requirements in the aluminum sector.
